About us

KuroCha! originally started as Black Technology in April 2006 as an Internet Cafe. In 2007, we expanded and started selling computer parts and offered services as well.

Around 2008 early into the year, just when I got myself out of National Service, I suggested to my partner that we needed to move away from the Internet Cafe business and actually become a shop, from then on we started bringing in more merchandise like Japanese figurines, action figures, tactical flashlights. Then midway into 2008 we met with HexShot from Toys N Panzer Works and we started defining our products more and started a market for military tactical collectibles and cosplay.

In 2009 February, we divided our shop into two different specialized businesses and by May even the website was divided and KuroCha! and Black Tactical was born.

Black Tactical specialized in military gear, costume play, replicas and nifty gadgets, while KuroCha! specialized in Japanese merchandise and have since expanded into Trading Card Games, Limited Edition games and merchandise, COSPA and quirky merchandise!

KuroCha! is officially a registered business as of 01/05/2011.
